Brittany Davis Deatherage is originally from Pulaski, TN. She is a 2009 graduate of MTSU with a major in Political Science and a 2016 graduate of Nashville School of Law. Brittany spent approximately 10 years working at the TN Legislature doing a variety of jobs. Brittany began her time at the Legislature as a Bill Clerk and eventually moved into lobbying. Brittany is now an Assistant Public Defender of the 15th Judicial District - Office of Public Defender Shelley Thompson Gardner. She is assigned to Smith County and represents the indigent criminal accused in Juvenile, General Sessions and Circuit Courts.

Brittany lives in Hickman, TN with her husband, George, and their dog Bosco.
